Support Parkour in Vancouver!
This weekend marks the most historic and monumental event for Parkour in the history of this city.
The Parks Board has built us a FREE Outdoor Facility! The first in Canada and the first legitimate one in North America. By showing up to this event, you directly influence future decisions by the city to build more sites like this one.
PKBC 9, the ninth annual summer parkour meet of the BC community will be held during the Grand Opening of this park. We’ll be jamming together on Saturday and the Origins family is slated to give two demo performances, followed by a challenge jam back at the gym! On Day 2, we’ll be jamming at UBC and having a BBQ before starting our Film Festival at the gym.

July 18th: Jam @ Hastings Park | Challenge Jam @ Origins.
11:30 am / Meet at Plateau Park (3311 E Hastings, east of Playland)
12:00 – 12:30 pm / Parkour Demo by the Origins Fam
12:30 – 2:00 pm / Jamming on the new park and fields
2:00 – 2:30 pm / 2nd Parkour Demo by the Origins Fam
2:30 – 3:00 pm / Final Jamming on the new park
4:00 – 5:30 pm / Jamming West Side Hastings Park
7:00 pm – late / Challenge Jam at Origins Parkour Facility
July 19th: *Breakout Jams @ UBC / BBQ / Film Fest @ Origins.
1:00 pm / Meet at UBC Clock Tower
1:30 pm – 4:30 pm / Breakout Jams
6:00 pm / BBQ (location TBA) food donated by Origins.
8:30 pm / Film Fest @ Origins Parkour Facility
*breakout jams: Sometimes the mob is too big for the spot. Community leaders will take smaller groups to explore different spots.
Please Note that Classes and Open Gym are cancelled this weekend for the event!
